LL owners, a question...

Not meant as a bitch, but why do some submission forms have frame buster javascript on them? I like to use a frame-based submission setup to submit to link lists but find that some sites use a frame buster and throw me out of whack when submitting to them.

It could be my frame setup skills are lame, but I was just curious...

I won't name names, but there are a couple of LL's I consider high profile that use this method...

Hmmmm which reminds me, time to add one to mine..

Abuse by people using submitters, loss of income as webmasters dont see my promos, etc. There are lots of reasons...

I know I've read at WorldSex for example that he has Paid advertising and webmasters that do that generally do not see those ads.

But I think the biggest fear is the use of an autosubmitter.

When I say using a submitter, I mean I have a list of the LLs in the left frame and the right frame is for the submission page, such as this:

http://www.myhottiez.com/llsubmit/index2.html

if the full submission page is seen, why use a frame buster to screw up my submission method? Autosubmitters and such don't even see the page, so I don't know why a frame buster would be used when people are hand submitting.

The frame busting code that is on my page is to prevent the auto-submitters and it does help a lot.

Yes many of do have to load the page in order to fill it out seeing as may of the LL scripts prevent submissions from any other method.

I also have my page protected by htaccess so it is impossible to bookmark.

I've been thinking of offering a paid for submit that doesn't have these annoying features.
