The bonds are backed by his last 10 Albums. And, since their rating was lowered, you can probably get them cheap :)

Actually I think Prudential owns 100% of the bonds.....so you can't even buy them. Not like I would.

I actually admire the effort.
I'm guessing that he didn't actually need the money from the bond sales. But looking for a way to beat napster et al, And create a New income stream. Even if you don't care for his music, you should at least respect his creativity. I think he was simply taking his musical, theatrical creativity and extending it to the financial world. I don't think this will be the last financial post about him we'll have here. |
