After I saw him on Tuesday he had a Dr's appt on Wednesday morning. Nothing new there, but he fell & hit his head on the way from the car to the house. He didn't loose consciousness & refused to let anyone take him into the Dr's

On Thursday he was dizzy & puking, so they called the ambulance to take him in. Upon examining him, they found he has a massive excess of fluid on his lung (we later found out it was 1 gallon after it was drained)

They released him Friday afternoon and, upon returning to his house, asked where he was :(

Hospice has been called & will be there Monday.

I'm at a loss for words. I've watched way too many friends and family go through this and it always ends the same way. :(

Hopefully he won't suffer for long and is as comfortable as possible.

Very sorry to hear about MML's fall. I've had a few concussions through the years, one very bad one where I was puking and didn't know where I was for a couple of days, I didn't lose consciousness either. It's a temporary thing and you get over it, I'm sure MML will as well. I fucking hope so anyways.

I read something about that on Karen's facebook, that all doesn't sound good. But hang in there buddy!

Terrible news, as Cleo said hopefully he can be comfortable in some way. Hang in there MML.

Me too. It's been years for me. Now I'm regretting being gone more then ever.

My mom used to work at hospice :( When I was younger, sad news.

MML buddy, so sad to hear about your fall and the fluids building up on your lungs, don't be shy about the Drs. at this time my friend..it is when they are needed..you take care and know you have all our best wishes and prayers coming at you!

Hospice are ANGELS, rely on them. I've watched how hospice helped my ex mother-in-law, and how they helped my mom easing her with pain medications from this phase on to the other.

Hang in there buddy! I got thrown from a horse and didn't know where I was on and off for a few weeks, the forgetfulness and all the rest will go away soon.
