Would be nice to see a WP theme to look LL'ish :)

With some scripts, you can output in WP. I don't know if you can still get Dragonscripts, but it will work in that manner. TGPX server edition would probably do it as well. Not exactly free though.

There are some already: http://www.wpmods.com/link-directories-for-wordpress

I should really try to turn mine into a better plugin for wordpress. The admin area is still shitty as fuck but it works. Now only if I had 3843 more hours in a day.

I'll take a look though as I want to make some changes to the way I'm doing things.

Is linkx any good i hated the autogalery pro thing i had befor it really sucked, but checking the demo on that it looks pretty kool. Seems I could dump the genrated html into a wp page too? I don't really want to spend money on the links part, but 49bux is not bad :)

linkx requires some work with setting everything up like everything else. you need also know CSS to change templates, cuz every new installation of linkx looks the same. I run all my LL on this script, but it's so heavy modified I would have problems updating to new incoming version. jmb software support forum should give you enough support though with any linkx question.

I think you can do this, but if the license is like TubeX's, you'll run into problems if Linkx and WP are on different domains.

It would be on same domain :)

I started with Gossamer Threads, then went to Dragon Links and the last two I did in LinkX. I like LinkX the best.

It drove me a bit crazy with the smarty templates vs php snippets for dragon links and the rest just html, but I like what it can do much better, plus as Paul said, it is supported and the forum at JMB is super helpful if you have questions.

Ditto on that. I just changed one of my list from Dragon to LinkX, complete with a new design. It ended up taking about 10 time longer than I planned, but I do like the way it functions.

There's a post on JMB's board where he talks about taking a regular html design and converting it to a LinkX template by dropping in Smarty bits of code. It sounds a bit like the process used with Dragon, but I can't imagine it being that easy. I might try it on one of my other list..
