20-Five Humpty Hump Day

Morning |waves|

I don't think I've slept yet. Watched hockey til about 1 (congrats Vancouver) and then played LA Noire til about 4.m I think I ate some toast after that & I might have possibly closed my eyes while watching reruns of Sports Center.

Just read my email & checked out the old Twitter & Facebook - now it's time for some legit work :)

Up insanely early due to Christy getting up insanely early to substitute in a room full of high school brats.

I have a really odd voice message on my phone this morning from Foxy that came in around 1 this morning. Hopefully she just butt dialed me and it is her TV or something in the background that got rerecorded. Way too early to call her back so I'll have to wait until around noon to find out WTF is going on.

Just another fun filled day of work and then the radio show tonight.

I miss the old day of this biz.

Good Morning World |waves|

Watched "I Am Number Four" last night and was surprised to see that it began right here on Big Pine Key (scenes actually filmed here too). Weird to see that come up on a character's laptop screen. Yeah, I know you folks who live in cities see your place names in lots of movies. But this is just a little island with no real tourist attractions. Which I guess makes sense if you wanted to hide-out in the Keys like Number Four and his guardian.

Don't forget, today is Towel Day, so if you're an Adams fan make sure you have a suitable towel with you at all time. Remember: "...any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with."

Wishing a everyone a day free from Vogon Poetry, and, of course, Panic.

42 :)

P.S. I'm not recommending the movie, just commenting on something I found interesting.

Hmmm.... Netflix says that I'd give it three stars and since my queue is rather empty today I added it but I don't hold out a lot of hope for this movie but as it is filmed in the Key I'm curious enough to watch it.

Here is the trailer for anyone curious about it.

Going to try to make it to the gym today so I will have a towel with me just in case I end up hitching a ride with some aliens.

Only a little bit of the beginning was shot here in BPK, then it's referenced on a video clip later. Most of the time they're in fictional Paradise, Ohio. If you like movies that tell you there's a group of people who have to be killed in numerical order, in fact even titles the movie based on that, but never explains why that is, you'll love this movie. :D

Good morning everyone!

Got mine & Licker's dailys done, and now planning my attack on the day....probably catch some sun, then start in on the cleaning. Gotta get the house all spic & span for the old mans return on Friday :)

Morning all.

Jim and I watched #4 the other day and expected not to like it too much, and really enjoyed it. I can't believe the guys wrote the book last year, and it is already a movie.

Fighting a cold and ended up in bed asleep at 6pm last night. Still rather fuzzy brained, but going to try and get some work done today. So don't be surprised if I make more than the usual stupid mistakes on submits today. |tomato|

I have my towel on my chair so I'm all set for towel day. Have a good one all! |waves|

I am Number Four was alright. I didn't think it was anything spectacular, but at the same time I was somewhat surprised by how bad it wasn't.

I didn't do much yesterday other than work. I ordered an Army of Darkness t-shirt, but that's about it. Oh, and got my hair cut.

Same with me, although I'm a special effects junkie, and the dog that transformed and the other creatures I felt were well done, so that kind of stuff makes a movie for me.

Just renewed a load of domains. Some of which I haven't done shit with. So that always is a nice kick in the ass to at least get something installed on them and moving the project forward. I can't believe it's already been a year. Fuck me.

So last night went to a Taco Tuesday night. Felt good to have a couple beers and be at the beach.

Now it's time to get to work and get over this hump.

Coffee is on.
