Mainstream Blog Directories

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I was not sure which area to ask it in.

I want to find some mainstream blog directories that will list me for FREE. I have found some that want hundreds of dollars to list me but I am not paying $100-$300 just to get listed for one year. Do you guys know of any links or can you offer any advice?

No idea about blog directories but there are a lot of mainstream directories out there. Lots of em list you for free. If you look for some of the mainstream submitting software you should be able to find a list.
