No one can't compete even close with us for accurate and up to date database. LinkLists list is a module of an old site which isn't supported for a long time If any of you guys would like to work on it - get in touch with me and you'll be in charge of it |

When a newbie has no start up $$ and needs traffic. The 1st thing that comes to mind is "Free sites and "Link Lists" You'd be surprised about freesites and what they can do to a domain. Increase traffic Increase Alexa ranking or page rank Links to you niche sites on the index or main pages Sales |thumb|thumb |

I have freesites that were subbed over 3 years ago. They're still sending clicks to sponsors. |headbang| The reason I bring this up is because we get a good amount of newbie signups. We buy keyword traffic from the big g. If your page is sending a not so positive light on my Link List friends. Then I wouldnt send newbies to your page. |
Uh, if noobies are still looking for an easy way to make money, or to make fast money in porn, they need to ...
JUST QUIT!!! Seriously, the industry isn't the same as it was years back. The TGPs do send bursts of clicks, the free site model is listed a lot longer and offers more text-rich as well as graphics rich sources for the surfer to absorb subconsciously. (Hmmm.. single gallery with 3 outbound links... some sales text versus 4 pages with the same opportunities?). The article was good, but is one point of view. We have worked with this industry for a good number of years in different aspects of it and our take is completely different. It would be a stronger article to give the wanna-be adult webmaster a couple different viewpoints instead of just dismissing the LLs. |

Just little note: Freesites definitely aren't about traffic volume. For me they bring little sale support and very decent link support (as LeRoy mentioned).

I would rather be honest and harsh than mislead someone. Webmastering -- adult or mainstream -- is hours of tedious work that can often better be spent doing something else. For every webmaster that makes the good income, there are probably hundreds that barely scrape by. Too many people fall for the "Get Rich with You Very Own Website" gimmick that bombards you every time you check your email or visit a website it seems. The people behind those don't tell you that it can take months to realize a dime from your site, even with good exposure. It can also take seconds.
There are good ideas in that article yes, but most have been around for quite a while. One thing not mentioned is simple networking. Some of the techniques will do nothing more than irritate your visitors (the circle jerks). You have to decide what is right for you and follow that path. For the average person out there... I stand behind my advice - Quit. Some of us do this crazy business because we are die hards, others are addicted or like the flexible hours. The money is also not what it was 10 years ago. |
