Good Bye September

Morning |waves|

I'm here early, huh? :) No updated on my major LL's will do that.

I have my 1st (of 2) Fantasy Hockey Draft tomorrow, so I think I'm gonna fuck off work for most of the day & do some prep work for that.

"No updated on my major LL's will do that"
Is that English? :D

Last night our A/C's evaporator fan motor fried so up early so that I can call the A/C company to come out and fix our A/C today. Luckily we have one of those potable A/C units on wheels for use in hurricanes so at least we had A/C in the bedroom last night.

Also stuck home today waiting for 4 new tires to be delivered from TireRack.com for Christy's car. By buying them online, paying shipping charges and then paying a local shop to put them on we are saving over $300 bucks. No wonder all the local stores are going out of business.

Bye September ..
I am hopping October will do 10 times better! :-/

Good morning world |waves|

Yep, almost time to turn over the wall calendar page and see what photo's at the top for October. Always nice to have something for which to look forward.

My neighbor needed new tires and wheels for her truck. I showed her the TireRack site and how to have what she picked out shipped straight to our local mechanic. Much better selection and saved a lot over the local options. Also, doing it that way meant she didn't have to wait around for a delivery.

Wishing a good day and weekend to all.

:)

Didn't think of doing that but they were so anal about the shipping and billing address being the same I don't know if they would have done that. We gave our address as 21 Court and it go bounced back because the post office puts it as 21st Ct which is probably why so much of our mail gets delivered to the house on 21 Street.

I well understand that one. I used to have all kinds of mail and delivery problems because our house in Key West had a street address on the side of the house where there was no entrance at all onto the property, and the street where there was an entrance didn't exist according to the Postal Service.

By the way, in case you ever need to do this again, here's how to get your stuff delivered to the installer instead of your home. http://www.tirerack.com/installer/index.jsp

:)

Thanks, will do this next time when I order tires for my Vette which are a faction of the price that my local tire dealer charges.

On a side note we have A/C again. |bananna|

September started with a bang but ended with a whimper.

I was thinking there should be a song attached to this Sept thread, first I thought 'Sept Song', then of course "it's a long long way from May to Sept'. But for me it's been 'September In The Rain', there must have been only 4-5 full 24 hour days that were dry this month. Hoping Oct is dry and prosperous, but most importantly bring on some |sun
