Happy Hump Day

Good morning.

Still in shock I'm being audited for 3 years, fuck me. I will really need to get some invoices together and get my account ready to handle this. Which of course is going to cost me money. Fucking government.

Tonight I'm heading home to Ottawa to play basketball, see the wife and daughter and pick up a new car... well a very used 2004 Chev :D

Just finished making a few days worth of juice.

Work, more work and then some more work is today's plans.

Anyone know what the name of this herb is? It was at the farmer's market yesterday and had a very pleasant scent but I'm not sure what it would used for. I asked the them but they only knew the Spanish name for it that I think began with a R but not sure.

Morning all.

Just working on another new blog, I hope to submit later today. I decided to let my pornstar blogs go, and concentrate on sponsors that are little pushed that I like the content for.

Looking forward to / dreading our appointment Friday with a guy that wants to start a paysite with one movie they have shot for him. (but it does have 6 scenes, does that count?) Fortunately, his friend shoots for Penthouse and has a lot of content and will be adding more into it. I have a feeling I'll be doing more of the affiliate tie in and less of the site design, as his friend is a graphic artist as well as photographer.

Fortunately for me the monthly meeting of the sin city chamber is at the Chicken Ranch here in Pahrump on Friday, so they are going to stop over and beforehand, so I don't have to make the drive in. |thumb

I really hate doing work for others, but if it gets us some extra $$$ right now, I'm all for it. And you know you all will be the first to hear about a new sponsor to promote that no one else is pushing too. |headbang|

Have a good one all.

Cleo, not sure what that is. I'd say take a sprig into a local nursery and ask someone that speaks English. :)

I found it today by sounding out the Spanish name that he gave me. Oddly I can often spell a Spanish word despite not knowing what it means.

Anyway it's Ruda

"Ruda, or Ruta graveolens, also called Common Rue, is an evergreen shrub with bitter leaves and small yellow flowers. It is a medicinal plant that originated in the Mediterranean and Asia. Rich in antioxidants, flavinoids and vitamin C, rue has many therapeutic uses.

It is used to soothe eyestrain, to repel insects, regulate menstruation and as a sedative. The oil and leaves can cause blisters when exposed to the sun.

Fresh leaves rubbed on the body will relieve the pain of headaches and sciatica. Rue oil can cause vomiting, stomach pain and even be fatal.

It grows profusely in the ethnobotanical garden and in medicinal gardens all over the area. It's a staple herb for healing in many home gardens."

I have a feeling it smells much better than it tastes.

Afternoon. Just making it back around to the boards. Happy hump day. Fucking insanity. I need to migrate just two more small things over to my new OS i've been using and then I'll be completely moved over. Then I can just remove the hard drive and have it in my file drawer if there is just small file I need to grab that I forgot. However, as of now I'm pretty good. Quickbooks and music need to be moved.

Alright. Time to get over the hump. Have a good one.
