Reports Of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated....
I'M ALIVE!!!!!
The surgery went as well as can be expected. I am basically pain free, but of course, it didn't go 100% as well as it could have been. My legs & arms are still numb, but much better then before. I also have an enlarged thyroid which is causing part of the problem. But, as you can see, I am up & running on my computer - The Bitch had my computer moved to the living room as there's no stairs for me for about 6 weeks. I'll be around - it's not like I have anything else to do :) |

Welcome back. :)
You should use one of the lovely hospital pics as your new avatar. :D |
Good to hear things went well.
|
glad to have you back in the land of the living...
|
Glad to hear the good news on the surgery and that they let you come home (always good).
Now you can start planning your revenge for the Facebook pics postings. :D . |
After surgery it is always best to eat the right foods
I recommend bacon sandwiches :) |
Glad it all went well. Karen should have moved the computer closer to the TV though, lol.

Numb is better than pain, and when the swelling from the surgery subsides, hopefully that will get better too.
Make sure you check up on your thyroid, as the mother of a son going through thyroid cancer treatments in a few days, it is nothing to put off. He has problems breathing, and that is when he found the enlarged thyroid was a mass of tumors. Glad you are feeling better, it amazes me you can have neck surgery and be home that fast! |
Welcome back!
Pretty scary seeing you with the neck brace. Glad it well |thumb |
WOOHOO!
