Good wintry morning, folks

It's getting nippy in here and as much as I'm not ready for winter, I am trying to welcome the change of season. Thanksgiving is almost upon us. Lots to be thankful for this year.

Mundane Monday...

Morning |waves|

Had a rough day yesterday as far as pain & walking, but I feel pretty decent so far today. There's also talk about getting me a hospital bed to sleep in (bed goes up, bed goes down, bed goes up, bed goes down, bed goes up, bed goes down, bed goes up, bed goes down, bed goes up, bed goes down)

Just work on the agenda for me today - as if I could do something else :D

No snow here and the A/C is on.

For some odd reason Christy and I got into gardening mode yesterday. Covered up an old bit of sidewalk with dirt and sod, planted a couple of new red tree palm things that we bought on impulse while shopping for bags of dirt and sod. Then we went around and replaced all the malfunctioning sprinkler heads now that water restrictions have been lifted. But the thing that left both of us sore as hell today was moving our hanging herb garden into a shady part of the yard which meant first moving a huge concert pot that had a miniature Date Palm in it out of the way. The pot weighed hundreds of pounds so we used a large iron bar over a log as a pry bar that one of us would step on while one of us laid on the ground pushing it with our feet and slowly over an hour or so we walked it about six feet out of the way.

No more gardening planned for today, just a day of computer work.

Morning. Had a nice day yesterday. Ate like a king yesterday. Went out to brunch and to a nice steak dinner last night. :) Tomorrow once I'm hungry again some of the left over steak will be used for steak and eggs breakfast.

Not that I expected the Chargers to win yesterday's game. However, still sucked. Hopefully at home can beat the Broncos this coming Sunday.

Alright, time to get to this monster list of things to do I have for myself. Have a good one everyone.

Morning all.

Finished up prepping and loading Jim's chicken stew in the crock pot, made this time with sweet potatoes instead of rice. He loves my crock pot cooking, and it is something with meat I actually can figure out how to cook. Yesterday, I made a big veggie stew for me that is really tasty.

My son went into the hospital today for his radioactive iodine treatments for his thyroid cancer. Hoping that goes smooth and easy for him. He said he might be in the hospital up to four days, and it would suck to be stuck there for Thanksgiving. I'm just glad they caught it and it is so easily treatable.

Other than that, just work on the agenda on this overcast and cool day. Have a good one all.

Good evening,

Woke up to a bunch of fog today, it stayed that way for the rest of the day. It's like we're living in England right now.
I'm a bit tired from the offline job so I might spend the rest of the evening on the couch watching lame TV shows.

Have a good one all!
