Search Result with my affiliate code?
 

Hi all :-)

Just been checking stats and found I had a sign-up that came straight from Yahoo search results.

Someone had searched for the site name and it was the first search result with my affiliate code in it |bananna|

Just curious as to how this happens... any ideas?

I was also doing some searching and Yahoo pulled in some of my trade script URLS. They have DrBizzaro's name on them, yet when clicked on, the traffic is sent to my trades.

I would love it if it started pulling in my affiliate codes as welll.

I used to be #1 for "XXX Passwords" with my CE Cash code back when I had a link to it on my index. It lasted about 2 weeks - LOL

I love all the SE's picking up my fpa's :D

It is not an uncommon occurence and depends on the links structure and the page delivered on the other end of the link.

With some sponsor programs this happens regularly... I had a ************* link as a top 10 at Google for some time..

Programs like OutbackCash have links coddes that are often picked up by SE's... http://www.google.com/search?num=50&...=1&q=chubbybbw

LOL the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago, got #3 for XXX Rami on yahoo... god only knows where it is now, but sure as hell no sales :/

I get a lot of these from my php script links - have hundreds of listings for sponsor hosted galleries with my affid in them - yippee |bananna|

The only sponsor link with my code in, that SE were kind enough to pick up|jester| were those to Karups. I get lihe 50 hits a day from those, but no any signups|sad| . Could be becuase they don't have trials ?

BTW you may not get credit for those hits, unless your script tags on your refferer because wehn redirecting with PHP 90% of the time it carries the orginial pages ref or no ref.

you may want to htaccess it to your main page.

Google and Yahoo are good at crawling those links - as long as they don't have some sort of session id attached they will get listed pretty regularly - noticed here (just my experience) that the links without a mouseover code seem to work better :)
