Happy Christmahanukwanzakah everyone! 20111225
 

Not sure what I'm doing up so early since we didn't go to be until around 2 am.

Went kayaking last night, did just under 7 miles. When we got home the first thing we like to do is take a shower and wash all the salt and mud off but last night we got home only to discover that we, along with a quarter of a million other folks, didn't have any water.

Ended up jumping in our neighbor's pool which was way too cold but better than going to bed covered in salt water and mud. Neighbor was shit faced drunk so ended up hanging out with her until after midnight when the city finally got the water turned back on, kind of.

Still very little water pressure and we have to boil it first, but at least we can flush our toilets.

Going to have Xmas dinner with Christy's parents and I see a nap in my future.

We didn't have as an exciting night as you Cleo, just sat and watched episodes of Idiot Abroad.

Today I see much Fallout New Vegas playing happening plus I'm sure Jim and I will watch some movies.

Just spent a weekend eating way too much and getting stuff that I don't really need, except for some comic books which are really cool.

Still recovering a bit from partying with the neighbors last night. Today is going to be nothing but relaxing (after doing a few minutes of work earlier). Plus some overeating and maybe some other over-indulgences.

Nice evening with relatives I only see a couple times a year last night.

Doing some work this morning since the adult kids aren't coming over till this afternoon.

All I want for Xmas is a good sales day. So far it doesn't look promising.
