Thumbs and gallery types

I am completely redoing my main link list, getting ready to migrate to TGPX. I have 88x88 thumbs for every submit, whether I had to make them or the submitter included them. I remember I originally went to this to keep the site from being boring. Now I find it too cluttered. Are these thumbs something the surfer really looks for these days? Is the type of site or gallery relevant in the listing? Would love to see some input ... Thanks!

It's up to you, how you feel about that type of feature. I like them thumbs and I think that they are important when it comes surfing your website. I definitely would consider one option where thumbs could be uploaded but not required.
