ProTGP Sunwave Is Dead

No reply to support emails for weeks so I'm moving my sites after 7 years.

I'm putting this up on the off chance they read this board. I'd like SSH access so I can easily move my sites away to another host. Surely it's the least they could do after that long as a customer?

Hi I remember JustRobert and Virgo Hippy had issues with them
I know calling them is difficult from Down Under, but maybe this thread will help

Damn, the title gave me a heart attack.

All my sites are still up, which is good because I just paid for this month.

I just went into the admin and renewed a domain, she is a third party, which means she is keeping up with funds at the registrar for it to go thru her system.

Donna is hard to get in touch with. Your best bet is to call.

Thou I will say I probably need to switch as well but I have been with her even longer so I keep putting it off.

that's a drag.

I used to have hosting hassles, made me very tense, felt like a prisoner, then I got an account with chris, cd34.

everybody is having to tighten up on service costs these days tho.

I have already read the thread with JustRobert and VirgoHippy.

My point is this: I don't want to have to fucking call them, I don't want to make and pay for an international phone call just to get some support.

I realised one of my neglected blogs needed updating. They don't even offer PHP5. I couldn't upgrade the blog to get rid of possible spam issues. No reply to numerous support emails. Sure, they're happy enough to charge the credit card but I need more than that.

I'm not happy about this situation. Because I can't even raise them to organise SSH access I will have to upload all of my sites to the new host by hand. I have better things to do with my time. :(

Its stressful to move, I moved to http://www.colo-cation.com two years ago this month and am very happy. Wish I had done it sooner

JustRobert 2012-05-11 12:10 AM

Colo-cation will be my next move once I stop dragging my feet.
