Good morning.

After Greenie's comments yesterday, I looked up date formats. Seems the USA is "special" being the one country to use MDY while most of the world uses DMY. Canada, of course, is tortured in it relationship to our southerly neighbour and the rest of the world so we use both. I've always used DMY because that's what I was taught in school system. You learn something new everyday!

Today is a big day. I am getting a rescue dog and so will be "tethered" to her for the next couple days. I grew up with dogs and I've always wanted one as an adult. The dog apparently has no problem with cats in his foster home. Our two cats will not be amused, at least not for a while.

Seem it be finally feeling better after suffering all week with a really nasty cold. I really want to paddle out to Stiltsville tomorrow but now Christy is really sick. :(

Looking to be just a day of work along with a trip to the grocery store. On the off chance that Christy feels better by the end of the day we will load up the kayaks but as she is a few days behind me with this cold it isn't looking good at all.

Today is Saturday, that's enough for me :)

Did some work in the garden today and went to the grocery store. In 2 hours the over-confident Dutch will play their first game at the European Soccer Championship. I might go watch that game at the bar.

Got back into bike riding as a form of exercise and my nephew has started riding with me. After looking over my bike, I realize that it is not the right bike for my riding style now. I'll live with it for now, but, I can already see some positive effects from riding.

Other than that, need to go up on the roof and see if I can figure out where our leak is coming from.

Yesterday was the first day I got a full day's work done since my sister went in the hospital. It has been a really roller coaster week for me. She is incredibly lucky as her eyes were spared, almost everyone who gets this reaction ends up blind. But she is doing much better, and went home from the hospital last night. |thumb

Today I'm still working on getting my content on sitedepth for my pay and avs sites. Hope to get a full batch of submits sent, and start on my next 3D rendering. Maybe get some working on our pond project this evening too.

I have motocross on tv today and the little one showing up for a few hours of grandpa time. Between all that its work, work, work this weekend. Getting ready for a hosting change. I have |virgohippy| doing all that stuff so I will probably shut down subs to ETN for a few days because you never know when paisley skies and strawberry fields will distract him, lol.

Lets hope they turn down the freaking shave button this weekend!

Me too - that's how I name all my files when they contain a date - mush easier to find a file from January of 2007 that way.
