I'm not sure if I call it right, I simply mean those panels such as Twitter, Facebook, (like, add, share, etc.) and others. Do you think that this is good for adult related stuff? If so, which plugin do you use?

I throw one of the Add This thingys on all my pages - can't hurt.

Not a lot of traffic but it helps.

I use twitter tools on a few popular blogs. It's okay traffic. Not really worth it on new/low traffic sites I suppose unless it's super-niche.

Ok, thanks to all, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. ;)

There was an article recently about a site that removed the share buttons so that people would be enticed to cut and paste the URL, which shows up much differently in Facebook/Twitter and is usually considered a better 'share' than the button.

I think drop social media buttons was the blog post that started it, but, there was someone that did a very detailed writeup showing stats from Google Analytics and mixpanel that showed the results. Smashingmag.com was the site that showed their stats, but, I can't find the url for that.
