Rise and shin it's a glorious last day of June 2012
 

Blue skies, humid as a swamp, hot as hell and it's going to be a wet kind of day.

Up early due to Christy getting up early to do yoga on the beach. I don't do yoga so going to get a little work done before she gets back home.

Going to visit Christy's folks for lunch and then going to a Meetup at a water park.

There's a waterski race tomorrow about a mile from where I live. We might go check out the practice runs later this afternoon.
I had a rough week doing demolition. This morning when I woke up I felt totally wurned out. Feeling a bit better now. The weekend will do me some good I hope.

No work for me from this point. Little get together with friends tonight at my place so I have to do a little liquor store and grocery shopping.

I've been watching a party going on, contemplating a few things, working on some IOS code with the Tour de France on in the background. Originally, I thought not having network TV (ABC/CBS/NBC) would be a problem, but, it turns out, they are only broadcasting the Tour online (for $30).

A few around the house chores, washing an old bike of mine to prep for sale and a bunch more work on the table today.

Morning all!

Bit sore this morning from push-ups and scraping the built up minerals off our swamp coolers so we could change the pads. Good to be able to work out again, but I don't miss the sore muscles.

Porn on tap for today, got up too late to do yard work. I don't get out there by 6am, its just too hot to work until right before sunset.

I haven't had network TV in so long. Jim watches any news he wants to right on their websites, and I watch Netflix for older shows. I just realized this month makes 3 years+ since we have had DirectTV. They still send us "come back" letters almost weekly.

so this is turn out to be a calm day...

I ended up watching a BBC feed, but, I think the NBC coverage would have been better. It wasn't worth $30 to me for the few minutes I would actually have time to watch.

I suspect soon, Google's set top boxes will start to encroach on normal providers and the only thing that will keep subscribers is creating content people are willing to pay for. Wow that sounds familiar. :)
