Once again it's Monday. Time to make the donuts. 20120723
 

Should still be sleeping since I stayed up to watch Breaking Bad and then watched Weeds and then didn't get to bed until after 1 am but I'm too sore to stay asleep.

It's looking to be another stormy day in my little part of this big spinning rock. Yesterday we had storms that looked like Armageddon was turning out to be more than just some fairy tail.

With the weather as nasty as it was yesterday it was a good day to stay indoors and spend the day deep cleaning the house. Really sore from cleaning today. I guess house cleaning should help me live longer though.

This week is the time that people in Florida go crazy and jump into the water to catch really big cockroaches to eat.

The only work that I did all weekend was to make updates to my mainstream hobby blog so other than running a few errands going to spend the day working on stuff that, hopefully, actually makes me money.

Good morning. Usual day here in sunny hot and warm Montreal :)

I'm probably going to teach myself to make some homemade Twinkies.

I'm with you cleo, I got to bed after midnight, then the cat woke me up somehow unplugging the fan and making a racket at 6. I'm feeling a bit |loony| from lack of sleep.

Spent yesterday getting ready to become a vendor on a site with our 3D stuff. Once our "store" is launched, I'll let you know. Pretty excited over it, as the woman told me our quality was good enough to ask top $ for. Now I'm just waiting for them to set up my account so I can start uploading all my suff I put in PDF format with promos all day yesterday. |thumb

Its free site building and maybe some 3D work, depending on if I can think that hard kind of day with the AC on because it is too humid out.

I've gone into other rooms quite a few times this morning, wondering why. And to think, I used to pay money to feel this way. |loony|

Jim got about 2 hours of sleep, and I had him up copying files off his computer for me that I needed, wow was that fun watching him trying to figure out what he was doing. He is back in bed thankfully sleeping.

Finally got a break from the rains this morning so it was off to the banks and the grocery store. It's nice to have a full refrigerator, freezer and pantries again, but it's a pain doing the shopping. Didn't get back until almost noon and been knocking stuff off the daily list since then. Now I'm calling it an early day so I can feel good about starting early tomorrow.

Yep, and mini lobster season is also when they go crazy dragging their boats down here from the mainland, demonstrating poor driving skills, clogging the roads and acting like asshats everywhere they go.

There was a study published last year in the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology that talked about how doors act as "event bondaries" which cause your mind to file away the last things you were thinking and make ready for new information. So you can blame the door. Here's a Medical Xpress article about it. It helps if you tell yourself out loud what you're going into the other room to do, or even better to sing about it to yourself.

Fresh Homemade Donuts! Why do you have to live 3000 miles away :( That would make an awful Monday morning walk, and I'm still not making enough to fire up the Lear Jet, well I'd have to hijack it out of someone elses garage anyhow.
