Still dealing with the last of this food poisoning but not going to stop me from going ahead with our weekend plans. Especially since we have a non cancelable hotel room.

I never buy organic food. I feel it is a waste of money and prefer my food not to be grown in animal Shit.

The other day we were at Whole Foods picking up stuff that our regular grocery store doesn't carry and picked up a small package of over priced organic green onions since I didn't want to have to go by our regular grocery store just for this one item. I ate them the day before coming down with food poisoning and have suspected that this was what caused me to get sick.

Today I saw this on the morning news.

Whole Foods in Fla. recalls foods with raw onions

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Some of the foods being recalled are salads, dressings and sandwiches. The products that may have been contaminated were prepared at the company's 17 locations between July 7 and Friday.

The company says they have not received any complaints about illnesses.

Affected customers should throw away the product and return to the store with their receipt for a free refund.

Listeria monocytogenes can serious illnesses and in some cases death.

Fuck organic crap. This is the last time I'm ever eating all natural grown in animal shit food. Until I was eleven I lived in farm country and people were always getting sick from food. Then modern fertilizes came around and crop yields exploded and food became a lot safer.

Good morning board. I watched Opening Olympics Ceremony on BBC last night, GG thanks for link. Best words to describe is Organized Chaos, but it was nice. Other than that more work for today and tomorrow on my network as well as for my main client.
Have a god one |waves|

Good afternoon, just got back from France after an 11 hour drive. Our little boy took a dive from a curb at a gas station and has a nasty bump on his head now but that doesn't seem to bother him. That's my boy :)
I'm all messed up now from the long drive (and getting up at 4:30 to beat the morning traffic jams near Lyon).

Other than that everything should get back to nirmal here real soon.

Have a good one all!

Good Morning :)
Have done my morning work stuff now need to do a couple of errands I did not get to yesterday. Then its work while watching Olympics until we go to the theater.

Our sons best friend landed his first big stage production role in an all star cast showing of Mel Brooks musical The Producers at the Hollywood Bowl that we are seeing tonight. Gorgeous weather should make a grand evening under the stars.

Afternoon!

So, I fell asleep - multiple times - during the Opening Ceremonies. I saw most of Part 1 of the history lesson (Industrial Revolution, celebrating health care) Was there a Part 2? It's pretty sad when the best part of the event was a B grade Mr Bean performance |zzzzzzzzz

It's also nice to see that NBC decided to leave out part of it:

The major transitional element of today's London Olympics opening ceremony was a downtempo performance of adoptive sporting anthem "Abide With Me" by Scottish singer Emeli Sandé. The song and accompanying dance were a tribute to the victims of the 7/7 terror attacks in London that claimed 52 victims days after the 2012 Summer Olympic hosts were named. (It's also been suggested the performance was a memorial to the war dead.)

Regardless, it was a rather significant and emotional moment in the opening ceremony, coming just before the parade of nations—and it wasn't aired in the United States. Instead, viewers were treated to a lengthy and meaningless Ryan Seacrest interview of Michael Phelps. NBC regularly excises small portions of the opening ceremony to make room for commercials, but we've never heard of them censoring out an entire performance—especially to air an inane interview. We've asked NBC why they didn't air the tribute, and if they get back to us we'll let you know what they say. In the meantime, enjoy the performance everyone else in the world saw. [BBC]
Here's what I'll be doing for the next few hours:

Afternoon.

Yea the opening of the olympics was a rough ride. The start was decent. We had a good time commenting on it and talking in horrible british accents during the start. The rest until the end was more time to just chat and eat a lot more bbq.

The coverage online is awesome. I'm digging it! Need to get the iPad app rocking too here in a little. So nice to be able to watch whatever sport when you want it.

Alright time to watch more women's volleyball while moving some content around for this week.

One thing I watched that I had never seen before was Handball. Kinda dig it. :D

Have a good one.
