It's the Morning Thread of the 2nd Hump Day of August 2012

Been up for a few hours for no other reason than falling asleep at 9:30 last night.

I fell asleep while watching a show about hippos in Colombia that Pablo Escobar had brought in and now their population has exploded. Since they have become a tourist attraction they don't want to get rid of them but they need to stop them from breeding so fast so they are castrating the bulls. I learned that hippos have really big balls plus watching drug lords getting hunted and killed along with hippos getting castrated results in really strange dreams.

I don't seem to be getting over whatever the fuck it is that I've caught so going to the doctor this morning and since he has been asking me to do a fast I'm going there really hungry.

Fantasying about indulging in all the fruit, yogurt and cheese that we bought last night.

Good Wednesday Peoples |waves|

Usually Wednesday is our busy day with doctor appointments & stuff like that, but today our afternoon is free so we're finally going to see the new Batman movie at the local IMAX |thumb

OH! I do have to stop by the Social Security office & get the ball rolling on having my status classified at disabled. I might as well get some of that money I've paid into Social Security back now before it runs out |couch|

Have a good one!

I'd like to hear more about this since I've been thinking about doing the same thing.

Especially after finding out today that the employer that I get my medical insurance through put me on a plan with basically just about no benefits.

Waiting to hear back from my employer that I get my medical insurance through to see if they want to up what they pay me and I'll get my own insurance or if they want to restore my insurance to something that actually has usable benefits.

On a side note I had to give blood, urine and stool specimens at the doctors today. Nothing like trying to take a crap into a jar and the same time you are trying to piss into a cup. :D

Remember that you have income limits when collecting Disability. If you earn more than $1010 a month or so, you become ineligible. You'd have to doublecheck that number, but, I believe that is right. Social Security SGA worksheet.

Had a flat tire on my bike Sunday, used one of those new glueless patches - first attempt failed. Second attempt appears to still be holding, but, I really think these patches are meant to be temporary or for tires that run at lower pressures.

Other that that, pushing bits. Have a good Wednesday.

On my casual quick look a few months ago that is about the figure I saw which basically meant you had to live in poverty in order to collect benefits.

Morning. Was up late coding. Made some good progress on a bunch small test things. Now I need to take those and work them into the actual large program.

I'm super tired. Most likely going to lay back down in a few and at least rest my eyes.

Time to do some data entry and sorting some stuff.

Big hump to get over today.

Don't worry, when Romney wins he will eliminate all the unneeded benefits such as SSI and SSDI, afterall he has to pay for cutting the deficit somehow, no way he would even consider cutting the much needed benefits for the super rich

I think they are trying to prevent people from claiming disability that are able to work.

On another note:

http://dealfuel.com/seller/today-onl...online-course/

free web designer ebook and one month photoshop training course. Might be of interest to someone, requires Paypal, and I assume a free one month trial that would have to be cancelled if you didn't want the recurring billing.

For those who are interested in getting this, I just walked through the signup and enrollment processes and was able to download the book and access the full Photoshop course without ever giving them any billing information. |thumb
