August in south Florida is a good month to stay indoors or spend in the ocean. At least we haven't been hit by a hurricane so far.

Still in recovery mode from whatever it was that I caught. Hoping that my doctor may find out today what it was but it may be another day before the lab results come back.

Just a day of work planned indoors in the comfort of A/C.

In a really good mood today - I sure do hope it lasts :)

Lots of interesting Olympic things today, like Usain Bolt running in the 200m finals, US Women's Soccer & Water Polo playing for gold, the list goes on. I'm recording 3 channels so The Bitch can fast-forward thru her favorite events & not have to watch NBC's primetime tape-delayed pile of beetle dung.

Not much going on here today. I spent the last couple of days moving servers and everything now seems to be complete except a small cron issue I have to fix.

Doctor is making me very nervous. They just called and said I need to come right over so that they can take more blood.

Off to go get needle stuck in my arm...

Spent the night working on some code for a client. Debugging other people's uncommented code is a nightmare. They added some data, pageload time skyrocketed to 4+ seconds after adding 125 categories to the site. I suspect somewhere there is some code that is reading the category list each time and doing a loop to grab the right category.

Now I remember why I stopped working on other people's code. :)
