How Long Before Paid Accounts Are No Longer

I have been submitting to a few high end TGPs - or at least what used to be and I have to say traffic is down to nearly nothing. Even The Hun - who used to send at least 1000 click throughs to sponsors is down to about 25% of that with my last 3 posted galleries. I can't see how anyone is making money with TGP submits these days with numbers as low as they are. is it me or is everyone else noticing the drop in traffic.

|huh |banghead| |cry|

I only have one paid submit account and it's such a small fee that it's a no brainier.

Hun has been listing me a lot lately but conversions have been horrendous. It's a good thing my hosting plan comes with more bandwidth than I use.

Most of my sales seem to come from old stuff like free sites that are many months old plus off of blogs.

But as far as paying for accounts it just is no longer profitable.

I make money but it's definitely down lately.

Would be nice if they all went free but that's not going to happen. Some of the fees haven't changed either :(

I can understand the TGP owners POV because that's the main income I would think. And just as Cleo stated, most of my sales come from older stuff such as blog posts and free sites that I had submitted months ago. I'm not complaining about those at all. I used to be goo for 2-5 conversions off Hun traffic and even though he's listing much more of my stuff quickly I have had zero return on it. Seems the best way to go with TGP is to use some bought content and push them to an active blog?

I wish I could tell where my sales came from. Since I make about 95% of my income from NetVerifier, Zombaio and CCBill, none of which have sales tracking, it drives me crazy because I don't know which source is best.

If I get a sale a day or so after I submit a gallery or site, I assume it came from there, but who knows? |huh

I too have been getting listed fast on the hun. If I submit an exclusive toon gallery and prioritize it, I've seen it listed within a few days. Rarely do I get a sale anymore.

I'm like you Cleo, I tend to use only 1/2 my B/W capacity a month, thankfully since I have been getting several hun galleries a week lately pushing it up.

Hmm well in my CCbill transactions report as an affiliate there's a checkbox 'Breakdown by URL's' which tells me where my sales came from.

I was thinking the same thing HW.

Now, just like RC, most my sales come thru NV and I find it frustrating at times.

I always thought that the ultimate tracking for an affiliate program would tell you the pages or domains that the surfer came from before they hit the affiliate coded page. Something like:

Your surfer went from http://www.link-o-rama.com/greenguy/newsites.htm to http://www.amateurnipples.com/latina...nie/index.html to http://www.amateurnipples.com/latina...k-buddies.html to http://secure.reallatinaexposed.com/...EwNDY5LjAuMC4w

OR

Your surfer went from link-o-rama.com to amateurnipples.com to http://secure.reallatinaexposed.com/...EwNDY5LjAuMC4w

Imagine being able to know what site you submitted to that produced the sale!

I think I'll dig up my NATS contacts & suggest this to them.

OMG I've been using CCbill for flipping years and didn't realize you could do that. I feel like an idiot, but I'm glad to know about it.

Like JustRobert, still leaves the vast majority unknown with NetVerifier.

Just looking at CCBill for the last two months and seeing that my sales for one sponsor are all coming from my blog, for other about 60% my link lists and the rest free sites and galleries is priceless. |thumb

Videosz has that, pretty neat :)

As far as gallery submitting goes, yeah, income is way down. This has been my main venture since I got into this business but now it's starting to fall apart. It doesn't help that sites like pandamovies, shemp, video-post, dans-movies etc all got converted to tubes :-/
