As far as I’m concerned, Phoenix Forums was the best webmaster event I’ve ever attended. I actually made up for the cost of the trip in bumped up payouts and good contacts, as well as did a gang of partying.

Even met Kush, and didn’t have to kick his ass.

We really thought Phoenix was a blast! I got a chance to take Corey, the head of my hosting company.... poor guy hasn' t been out of the data center in years.

Not only did we have a lot of fun but I felt that I did more business then ever. If they could have this event 3-4x per year I'd say the rest be damned. On Friday we ended up in the upstairs bar pretty much buying all the liquor on one half of it for around 12 hours, till close. I never laughed so much in my life.

Phoenix was a great time. A lot of fun, met a lot of people, and of course once again I learned a lot just by sitting around and chatting.

This year we have really started hitting many of the smaller conventions and web gathering and I have learned a lot. Not only have I learned alot but I have meet some really great people. Internext has its advantages, but the smaller conventions is what is really making the difference to my bottom line this year. And I don't mean my butt. :-)
