I wonder how long it will take them to start buying up 9+ year old Webmaster Message Boards? :D

I had thought that they had already bought them. Maybe it was just a rumor that they were buying them.

I predict that it will all implode in on them in the not too distance future.

In what way, if I might ask?

It will become too large to be properly managed.

Not really. From what I've read & heard from Ramster, they keep everyone that works there, so it's really just swapping out the President of the company & business as usual.

I've often wondered why others don't adopt the same business model and do to Manwin what they did to everyone else.

^ We'll see soon enough.

I did notice last night that a hosted gallery from nastydollars set off my virus protection so I deleted them all since sales with them are about zilch anyways.

universe forbid.

but, you might get approached with offers to sell linkorama - then what?

Greenguy 2012-09-11 08:22 AM

It'd have to be an offer that set me up for life & I know for a fact the site is not worth enough for that to happen.

Right. Nothing changes at ALL. The keep the same management crew, the same crews that shoot their porn, the same key people in place, nothing changes.

Long term things could change. They could change anywhere though! But I know overall it's business as usual, just the money will go into a different account, lol

There is no money out there that 'd make me sell my network.

Question is, will they pay out...

Sarah_Jayne 2012-09-20 02:21 PM

It is interesting to watch. I am not predicting an implosion but I will admit that it is something that has crossed my mind. The impact of them going down would now be massive.

Greenguy 2012-09-20 04:35 PM

Why all the doom & gloom? Ramster works for Twisty's & look what happened there:

It's a well oiled machine at this point. You figure at this point they most likely have things figured out. If anything probably tons more resources are thrown at things.

Yo Adrian 2012-09-23 01:57 AM

Big acquisition there. I don't fear any implosions from this, it's just expanded market share and from what I know they run a very solid operation. It's scary to see someone buying up so much but it's a natural progression for a maturing industry.

Got some cash stalled there
