Feedback on e-gold needed
 

I'm considering signing up for an e-gold account for both personal use and to recieve payment / pay affiliates.
Does anyone here have any feedback, good or bad, to share?

only spammer, cheater, scammer or russians use e-gold!

I looked into using e-gold as a savings account a while back and the only thing I don't like is that they charge a 1% of your total account fee for using the service every month. That was way too high for me.

If you want to use it strictly to send money or for lower dollar ammounts or for less than a month I guess it would be ok. They've got some great features as far as the idea of ecurrency goes, but in general that 1% fee was a major drawback for me.

Right now I only have paypal, but since they don't allow anything adult, it just cuts me out of doing instant business with alot of places... if e-gold are for scammers and charge too much - does anyone have other suggestions? Stormpay perhaps?
