Freesite URL naming question

I've created a submit list, (thank you to everyone who responded to my thread), and so I need to divide the list up since the average is like 6 recips on the index page.

Does it matter how the URL is formatted?

Is it acceptable to format the URL something like this for example:
http://www.mydomain.com/FS/date/free...e/index01.html
http://www.mydomain.com/FS/date/free...e/index02.html

or
www.mydomain.com/FS/date/01/freesitename
www.mydomain.com/FS/date/02/freesitename

Naming folders as keywords and/or your site name including keywords - Does that practice have any value anymore with the search engines?

Use your second example.

I always put all the html pages in one folder.

You can put way more than six recips on your index page.

These days I only make two versions of my frees sites. One with no recips for use on my own internal stuff and one with all the recips for submitting.

Send me a PM with your requested partner information if you need and account.
