Anyone on Colo's servers getting email from outside of Colo?

Mail started acting strange last night and now I'm not getting any mail from any host outside of Colo. This is on all domain on my sever.

Anyone else having this issue?

And yes I have put in a trouble ticket.

Just got a mail saying that it has been fixed.

Sent a couple of emails from a domain outside of colo and I got them.

Starting to get a bit worried about this move.

Yesterday my SMTP servers went down a few times. Then one of my clients on my server let me know that webmail was unreachable at different times throughout the day.

Then this morning my bandwidth graphs are one again down.

I always assumed that the mail program ran on your server but I guess I was wrong and there is a box at the host that just does mail since we are all having these issues.

On the plus side everything has been working today without any issues.

In that everything was set up and working on your personal servers, why would they waste man hours transferring the mail to their own server?

I'm not with them, but if I were this would make me very suspicious about the integrity of the new owners!

I don't really know how mail works on a host but from the way this issue was it looks like they have one box dedicated to handling all mail and it lost its communications with the outside network.

This is the way I would setup small offices with one Mac running a mail server. You could unplug the mail server from the internet and inner office mail would still work but nothing could be sent or received outside of the office.

I did ask but didn't get a response.
