PervBox Submissions Down
 

I have a trouble ticket in with MojoHost right now. You can't submit to PervBox, nor can I edit the primary database with any of my backend scripts. Who the fuck knows? Not me.

Until further notice, remove PervBox from your submission list. I can't figure out what suddenly went wrong and my new masters (Mojohost) don't see any errors on their end. I haven't changed anything to do with the affected database tables, so I'll be fucked if I know what's going on.

One idea - go to fiverr.com and hire some script kiddie to look at it (you might well get away with having it actually fixed for just 5 ... just search for DB/php/whatever the backend is ... at least it worked for me in the past)

I'm still in the dark as to why the submission and certain other scripts have stopped working with the database. I can edit and insert data via phpmyadmin, but not with my dusty, old scripts. I temporarily used the code from FilthyEarl's submission script, which is a lite version of PervBox's and it didn't work. Nearly the same code on the same server - different results. |banghead|

hincapie, my scripts are fully custom, right down to the special order duct tape used to keep it all running. I know them inside and out and I can't figure out what has changed.

Just about out the door on my way to work and a repair occurred to me. So, submissions should be back up and running.

Whatever you did worked. Submission did go through with no problem this time.

Not sure if this will help you track down what's going on, but one thing was different. Usually the new submission appears immediately on the category page and on the tag pages. This time it appeared on the category page but not on any of the tag pages. Maybe those don't get rebuilt at the same time as the category pages for some reason?

Anyway, nice job figuring out that fix.

It is such weird behavior. The tag page scripting is identical to that of another one of my sites, and the tag pages works fine there. Argh!
