When does the socalled summer slow down start
 

Is there really such a thing?

I live at the north pole so there is never a summer. I do sell a lot of midget and BBW porn to my neighbors…

Things usually slow down a bit for me right before Memorial Day.

You used to be able to set your clocks to it. It's not quite as bad as it was 8 years ago when I went to Canada for Memorial Day and came home to 1/2 as much traffic but still very noticeable. You just have to remember what happens on Memorial Day. Colleges are closed and people start to enjoy the summer after a long cold winter. It just makes sense that people will have better things to do at that time than to sit in their houses and look at porn.

What is wrong with those people!

in CamHoVille, we have 2 windows of opportunity in the summer, Friday AM/afternoon and sunday nights. otherwise you can watch the tumbleweeds roll thru the rooms

While there is less traffic, I found last summer that there were about the same number of BUYERS... so there ya go.

Free email things do worse during the summer, just less people to give them to.

You would think that would be true but it's not.

I dont notice that much of a slowdown, but I remember back in 98 and 99 around christmas time, the signups would triple or quadruple. Doesnt seem to happen as dramastic as that anymore.

Last summer the only slowdown I really saw was August but that was more likely from me going to the Miami show and not building anything for weeks.

I think if you own high traffic sites and rely on that only you will see a dip in income. My own sites made less for sure. But as a free site and gallery submitter too who still built and submitted daily in June and July last year that income was still good. Maybe less submits to compete with? Who knows but when I still worked daily I made money.

All timelines used to be much more pronounced. Memorial Day started the slow down. The end of the slowdown was Labor Day when you could see college students with their parents new credit card. There was a slowdown just before Christmas and an explosion of signups just after. But now, not quite as clear cut.
