Google Organic Search Data Gone ...
 

Anyone who looks at their stats already knows this but it's now official -- searched keywords are disappearing from Google Analytics. Webmaster Tools will still give you some search term insights but not to the extent we've had. "We're flying blind!"

Now, all Google search is securely encrypted, and web site owners can no longer look at Google Analytics to see exactly which words people use when searching Google to find their sites."

As I have said in the past, one day the whole first page will be paid ads. I have already seen up to 5 ads in the "organic area" and the whole right side filled.

Nothing you can do, it's there biz and they have stockholders to keep happy.

I guess that I'll be doing the same tomorrow since I have no control over my sites anymore. I think I just remove GA in the near future and switch to my own server script like piwik or similar.

Fuck Google, I am moving all my sites to Piwik. I will not give them anymore information about my visitors than absolutely necessary.
