This is a repost I made the other day on a different board, I just wanted to make sure that folks know about this. If I should have posted this in ChitChat please do move it there.

D-Man let the cat out of the bag wednesday, but I just want to let you all know the real deal. Pattue deserves that.

Last week she was diagnosed with cancer. It has metastisized and she has a rather large tumor. She is scheduled for surgery on the 26th of this month to remove it and hopefully that's all she will have to endure.

If you don't know who PattyeCake is you should. She's likely the best damned account representative that any program can claim as having. She is a diehard worker and *always* gets things done for her people.
Each year she single-handedly sponsors a charity auction for adoptive and underprivileged children for Christmas. She plays Santa Claus and entices you and I to contribute to this effort and "adopt" a family. PattyeCake has a bigger heart than most of us combined and she has always been there for her people.

Well. now she needs us. She's going thru something that most of us can not imagine. At the very least I want you all to voice your support in this thread so she can see just how much she is loved and revered.

If any of you can do more to help please let me know, even if it's just sending her some more traffic.

She and I last talked in Vegas. She knows that cancer can be beaten, I survived.

Like Surfn, I survived too. Though, I had a very curable cancer- testicular. Yep- one ball is gone forever. The one that lives on is quite the tropper though. :D

My Mom had breast cancer and a rare fatty leg cancer. She's been A-OK for several years. :)

Hope your outlook looks very promising!

Paty Cake I listened to you on the greenguyandjim radio show and thought at the time "She's got a big heart".
With a heart as big as your you'll have that cancer wooped before you know it

I met her for the first time in Vegas, but I've known of her for almost as long as I've been in this business.

This are very true words. I never met her, but from emails only I feel that she is one of the most fantastic persons on earth.
My thoughts are with you PattyeCake*. And I'm sure that one day we will drink that bottle of Chablis together.

Like Surfn said it can be beat i am a 19 year survivor.

As things progress I will keep you all updated as info comes in. Right now, she has been confirmed for surgery on the 26th and is seeing her doctors every couple days so they can monitor her condition. I have extremely high hopes and confidence that she will make it through this. Keep sending the love and prayers!

I am so sorry to hear of Pattycakes ill health. She is one giving person and to have something like this to happen is the worse
ones. My thoughts and prayers are with her all the way. I want to say to Pattycake"hang in there ,you have the love of all of us.

I posted support for her on another board days ago...
and have kept her in my prayers...

but I also wanted to post support and a message to her
