htaccess and blocking
My WP have been undergoing a lot of brute-force attacks lately (Guess you all struggle with this shit)
I was told this as a solution Also, regarding the wp-login.php attacking, here's a solution: order deny, allow Deny from all ErrorDocument 403 "Denied" Put that in .htaccess, under the "Deny from all", add "Allow from The problem is, I can't get a static IP, the whole system here is dynamic. So the question is, how do I put an IP range in there? I have got the IP range my provider gives out to their customers I won't write the range here, but for example sakes, let's say it is 256.14.X.X to 256.24.X.X Thanks in advanca |
Try this - http://www.toshop.com/htaccess-generator.cfm
Read the notes on the bottom about IP ranges. |
In addition to putting a range of IPs in you can do what I do when I have to access my blog admins on the road.
I FTP into my blog's htaccess file and add the IP that I'm at and then I can log into my blog's admin. |
Thank you 'not so' Useless Warrior and Chleo.
I have now made access to myself. Could any of you bother to try to access http://dailyfilipina.com/wp-login.php? THanks in advance :=) Jolly |

However, It wasn't correct since it also blocked me. It should now be corrected with proper code, could anyone bother try to access http://dailyfilipina.com/wp-admin & http://blogsratedx.com/wp-admin ? (Testing two different ways of writing it) Will be appreciated from here until eternity. Jolly Ps, if you DO get access to the login page, answer the following question: Do you live in Norway? :) |
