It poured here last night & woke me up around 5, so I decided it would be a good idea to get up & do some work! I was back in bed by 6:30 |pokefun||greenguy| Back up when The Bitch's alarm went off at 9 & feel pretty good |thumb

Watched the US women defeat the German women* in the FIFA Women's World Cup semifinals last night. Odd how I could stay awake for that entire game, yet I fell asleep during 99.44% of the hockey games I watched last month.
* the German goalie was either a man or a descendant from the old East German side

I do get to leave the house for my bi-weekly chiropractor appt. She's once again trying something new on my back & documenting my progress (or lack of) so she's not charging me |bananna|

No rain here, we could really use some, but we have Saharan Dust that is giving me a running nose and a scratchy throat.

Waiting for my Air BnB guest to show up and check out. She didn't sleep here last night but is supposed to be coming by with her mom to get her stuff and fly back to Alaska.

Other than that just a day of my usual adult work planned.

It is hot here. Kid in the park told me it was the hottest day in ten years. I believe him. Bloody hot!

So it is Canada Day today is it? In that case I guess I aught to apologise for our lot kicking your lot out of the World Cup. At least with the USA we are going to wait until the day after their national day before humiliating them on the pitch!

I told you yesterday why that is. It is because women soccer players are really, really, really, incredibly sexy. It is hard to fall asleep when you are that turned on.

Tough way to lose a match. Poor girl was absolutely inconsolable.

On the plus side (every cloud has a silver lining) we will at least get an England/Germany showdown, which will be gold to the England fans.

But if they loose to Germany as well as getting knocked out by an own goal, we won't have to refuse to let them back in the country - they wouldn't dare come back!

Not sure why I missed/forgot to come here the last few days. Though I was a bit hung over on Canada Day thanks to also watching the women's soccer game and staying at my friend's place until almost 2am lol. Had to cab home and though I was up at 8am I went back to bed at 10 for a couple of hours hehehe.
