Tuesday September 15th (aka Taxes Are Due In 7 Months)

Morning! |waves|

Yesterday was strange, with me waking up at 6 AM - I ended up laying in bed watching football by 7 PM & I don't remember the 1st quarter |pokefun||greenguy|

I'm dropping any Buffalo Bills players that I have on my Fantasy Football teams because I value them too much, seeing as they are on my NFL team. I started Sammy Watkins over Brandon Marshall at WR. Watkins had 0 points, Marshall has 18. I lost by 7 |banghead|

Saw this trailer on Facebook this morning for the movie Hardcore, which looks like a Robocop kinda guy that's completely shot from his perspective:

Looks interesting!

Good Morning :)

I think I broke thru the funk so that is fairly good. Would be better if sales picked up and so I keep plugging away. Going to work on biz all week in an effort to getnerate traffic and sales before getting back to working on the house.

We have rain and thankfully and slightly cooler weather but the AC is still running non stop. At least yesterday the house never got past 80F which was a nice change.

Greenie, saw that trailer on crapbook yesterday as well and pretty sure I could not handle a 2 hour movie in first perspective. It would probably give me a headache but the trailer did look interesting.

I wonder if he ever looks in the mirror?

Just a day of work and house cleaning planned. I've been asked to play bingo tonight. Haven't done that since I was a child.

In other news I received a call from a TV Production company located about 20 miles from me that needs a website. Meeting with them on Thursday.

|dog Puppy News

I am not the only one complaining about the British weather. It was cold and wet today, and the puppy did not want to go out walkies. He wanted to remain sitting on the couch in front of the fire. It took two of us to force him out the front door!

Visited my father over the weekend. He has a little cocker spaniel. She remembered me. Or at least she remembered that I always brought dog treats. I thought she was running to greet me, but she was heading to my bag to see what doggy delights I had in there!

I've seen Cloverfield but I believe the camera wasn't as bouncy as this looks like it is going to be.

There were reports of moviegoers getting sick & having to leave the theaters.

You must HATE POV porn :D

I believe I watched Cloverfield at home which is the way I will see this one too, just in case.

As for pov porn, the camera is usually quite still. It's not like they are running around the house, jumping over a couch to fuck one girl then backflipping over a table to bang another then leaping thru a glass window to do a tucked dive roll right into ATM. Hmmm, that might be entertaining to watch now that I think of it or foolishly funny as "I Like Camping" :D

I think the "leaving the theatre" bit was due less to the POV aspect and more to do with the fact that the film was shit!

1 - You're watching the wrong kind of POV Porn :D
2 - Now that I think if it, "I Like Camping" was shot in POV |thumb

Just another "found footage" rip off of Ghost Watch. True, it wasn't as bad as Troll Hunter, Fourth Kind, or that "lost moon mission" one, but it was still an inferior entry into a genre that was already played out! Cheap cash-in rubbish.

IMHO

Ghost Watch?! |huh How's it stay on his wrist??
(and I knew before I looked it up it was some crappy British production no one ever heard of...)

???????????????

It spawned a whole genre! Films like The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity were basically rip offs of the formula Ghost Watch started. Without Ghost Watch, none of other good "found footage" movies would exist.

Of course the flip side is that without Ghost Watch, none of the crap "found footage" movies would exist either!

And without Ghost Watch there would have been no Cloverfield (we will forever disagree as to whether that would be a good or bad thing).
