Sunday September 20th (aka Guinness Book & ESPN Are In Town)
Morning! |waves|
I honestly don't remember when the Buffalo community was so hyped up about football...and that includes the Super Bowl years! Here's what's going on here in Orchard Park, NY: 1 - Buffalo Bills are playing New England...and very few people here like them, especially Tom Brady because he's a *CHEATER!!! |angry| 2 - ESPN is broadcasting LIVE outside the stadium until 10 AM. So far, aside from Ron Jaworski giving a shout-out to my/his hometown of Lackawanna, NY, the best thing I've seen is a guy in the crowd of people standing behind the live broadcast holding up a picture of Robert Durst |lol| 3 - The Guinness Book Of World Records is here as they're trying to set the World Record for crowd noise at the stadium today |attention 4 - The RV/Camper parking lot sold out yesterday. It also sold out last Saturday before last Sunday's game. I only mention this because it's only happened ONE time before this season |tddance| So I'm trying to work as I soak all this in...and I just noticed a SECOND Robert Durst sign* |lol| * I honestly don't care & like him :) ** Why don't TV's have a Screen Cap option?? |
No football, no ESPN, no Guinness Book records, no RVs (but I wish I owned one) today.
Woke up to seeing porn sales this morning. Maybe the football season is helping. |jackinthe I was supposed to go out late last night to some big lesbian event at a local club but instead went home and was in bed by 11 as I wanted a good night's sleep for today's paddle. Taking about 30 people (at least that is what have signed up) from two different Meetup groups kayaking on Whisky Cheek this afternoon. I bought a hitch adapter so that we can use my friend's SUV to pull my trailer since we are also taking his kayak that he keeps in my backyard. |kayaking| |potleaf
I had a dream last night that I was in court, charged with "bringing the Internet into disrepute". This was because of my plan to "retro fit" my non profitable sites with unblockable pop unders!
Still rejoicing about the Doctor's return yesterday. The season started with a bloody good episode. The before the credits scene was so good I thought "this is going to be a disappointment, the actual show cannot sustain this level throughout" But I was wrong, it was a really good episode (even by Dr Who standards). My sympathies to all of you who don't have BBC America - you don't know what you are missing! Quote:
Sci fi fans do it all the time, then post their work on Twitter, Facebook etc.. Or if you don't want to go to the expense, you can use the TV screen capture method that sci fi fans used before the thing-a-ma-bobble was invented. - Point a camera at the screen, and click the button! |

But seriously! Why is this not a default option on all "smart" TV's??? |

Good Morning :)
|tardis| started off really nice last night. The marathon of last season including the Xmas special was nice to watch again prior to the new show. Just working today with tv watching before some family arrive for dinner and a movie. |
Good Sunday morning :)
Been working this morning and will probably work a bit off and on during the Bills PAtriots game but it is one I would like to watch. then the Cowboys Eagles game at 4:25 should be a good one. Got wings in the freezer, now I just need some beer so off I go to the store shortly. |cheers
ARRRRRRGH!
Been removing dead links from my jokes site. (Sadly less that 10% of the people who bought links just a few years back are still in business.) I was removing one dead link when I suddenly realised that it was one of my own sites! In my own defence, it was a witchcraft site, and I have so many such domains, mostly just shit little sites pushing books, that loosing one is not too bad. But to forget entirely about a site until Chrome gives you a "This webpage is not available DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" error is quite inexcusable! |
