So how does this work?
 

In a few weeks time I hope to launch a new affiliate program (yep, the same one I said would start "in about a month", six months ago - I'm not good with deadlines). And looking at my advertising options I went to Juicy to see the skinny of advertising here (don't get too excited G, I'll probably decide that you are too expensive - "estimated CPC: $5" !!!??!).

Then I looked at the % page views by country. The one at the top gets 26.88% US traffic, but the US traffic to the square ones varies between 28.22% and 28.66%. How can less Americans load the top banner than load the next line of banners? That is physically impossible.

Also, as the percentage of British visitors is either 5.00% or just below that, how come I feel so lonely?

(it's not like I make any money off the crap that's running now...)

I wouldn't waste my time buying ad space to get affiliates. if the site is good affiliates will find it. And a post or 2 on the boards can bring some in too or you contact various affiliate to invite them to join.

My current Aff Prog has been on the spam board for a few months and in my sig about two weeks. Neither of those seem to work!
