Blind Link?
 

Hi - I just had a partner account rejected. The reason given was because I had a blind link on the page.

The page in question was http://www.asianpantiepissing.com/tg...rd04/index.htm

Now I've been submitting pages with the same links on for the past few days but this is the only one that has called the bottom link to my toplist a blind ink.

My question is this, is it considered a blind link or is this tgp owner being over zealous?

Looking at that page the only think it could come close it the top list link on the bottom of the gallery

I see no blind links.

Some places would call the text link you have on the bottom (the price link) a blind link because you don't tell the surfer where they are going - and although some would say that since the banner goes to the same place it would not be blind but some would prefer that you have some text saying where the surfer is going to spend that money

(especially since the banner link doesn't work) :)

The specific link that I was rejected on was the image to my toplist.

Those pics have huge file names and there are no keywords in them |sad|

That bottom link to the top list is a blind link....

I know it's a pain at first, however, once you get in the habit of renaming the pics you choose for a particular gallery before you resize or compress it, things turn out better with the SE's ;)

Hi DD - If it is a blink link, and I must say I'm a bit confused here. How can I fix it?

I thought a blink link was when the surfer thinks he is going one place but you mislead him and send him another. Like if I put 'Go to Yahoo!' and send him to Google. Is that wrong?

What about if I put a text link underneath the image? What should it say? Would that not send my out link count over the allowed three?

the banner link doesn't work - the banner on the right-hand side
the reason it's a blind link is you dont have any text saying "where" you are sending the surfer - a little text saying something like Get your 3 day trial access to Explicit Asian for $4.95 - CLICK HERE - or something better worded would be a non-blind link
the banner on the right is missing the &html= statement in the link which is why it's not working

Yeah your right Linkster. Thanks for pointing it out. I think I got confused in you last post because I was asking about the top link banner, you referred to the text link and also (I know realise) the right banner.

I'll get it all of this straight in my head soon I'm sure. |angry|

ahh, i see what you mean...

It doesnt make it look like a link to a toplist.

Maybe add some text under it that says "blah blah toplist blah"...
