Tuesday January 26th (aka Fucking Funk)

Morning http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...cons/icon8.gif

I can't seem to shake this funk I'm in. Good thing I'm going to one of my |loony| doctor's this afternoon.

I did get caught up on both seasons of Gotham. Season 1 on Netflix, Season 2 Episodes 1-6 on Amazon PPV*, and Episodes 7-11 on Fox On Demand.
* Had to buy these, and decided to try the SD versions since they were a $1 less & I can't tell the difference between Amazon's SD & HD videos |banghead|

Just finished moving my parrots back into their outdoor enclosure and cleaning up te big mess they made in my bedroom. So happy that's warm again here.

Working and then going to the gym before spending time with a Meetup group this evening.

Neither can I, but that is because I only got an SD monitor!

Currently waiting to see if my ad is approved by Yahoo and Bing -for reasons I posted elsewhere.

Kinda Glad I don't have Netflix, I cannot take any more bad news.

This week it's been revealed by Netflix - or confirmed, rather - that the entire Dr. Who collection is about to leave. This is the end of Dr. Who on Netflix.
Well you know what they say - Life sucks, then the TARDIS dematerialises on you!

Hulu still has the first 8 seasons

Greenguy 2016-01-27 09:23 AM

My discounted cable channels end pretty soon (HBO, Cinemax, etc) so I'm gonna look into getting Hulu in the near future |thumb

(Warning: Nerd alert ahead!) I think you mean seasons 27 to 34 the first eight were the ones shot in the 1960's and early 1970's.

Actually Netflix America hates the BBC, there was not enough demand in the US to pay BBC's outrageous fees :)

MeatPounder 2016-01-28 09:43 AM

BBC backed down

Here’s a list of BBC series staying on Netflix’s service:

Classic “Doctor Who”

“Doctor Who” seasons 1 through 7

“Copper” seasons 1 and 2

“House of Cards” trilogy

“Keeping Up Appearances” season 1

“Luther” seasons 1 through 3

“Monarch of the Glen” seasons 1 through 6

“North & South”

“Robin Hood” seasons 1 through 3

“The Buccaneers”

“The Office” U.K. seasons 1 and 2

“Top Gear” seasons 17 though 20

“Torchwood” seasons 1 through 4

“Wallander” seasons 1 through 3

Fans should plan to enjoy “Fawlty Towers,” “Blackadder,” “MI-5” and “Red Dwarf” before Feb. 1 when they will no longer be available.

Same problem in the UK, but in the UK we have to pay by law! :(
