Just got back in from snowblowing since we got about a foot or so yesterday. It's fucking COLD! It was -4°F until the sun came out & warmed it up to a balmy -1°F
* That's -20°C & -18°C in Canadia

Working now, but have to run to the store for some necessities, like pop & chocolate |pokefun||greenguy|

No snow here wit temps in the low seventies.

I seem to have gotten myself involved in a bit too many activities and not enough hours in each day. Just finished a rushed grocery shopping, now going to Vagina Monologues rehearsal, then showing up an hour late for park Meetup that I'm one of the organizers off, then straight to bingo that I'm the Meetup organizer of and then straight to Rumors for their 3 year anniversary party. Then tomorrow I'm the organizer of a bicycle Meetup and then early Monday court to deal with my fucking crazy ex and hopefully put an end to her shit.

I need a day of nothing to do.

Going to be 75F here today and that should be pleasant. Those temps Greenie posted just do not compute. Anybody else get a picture in their head that he looked like |snowman2 after snowblowing.

Getting out of the house today to visit old faces, some I have not seen in a decade or more, so need to wash the car after doing a bit more work.

Good day, goddam it's cold out there! Went and played pickup basketball at 9:30 this morning then breakfast afterwards. Staying in the rest of the day to work and watch hockey tonight as it's -40 out there with the windchill |crazy|

I so hate the 21st century. Didn't like the last couple of decades of the 20th, but I should have kept quiet. The 21st century is much much worse.

Am trying to design websites using CSS and what bits of HTML 5 IE8 recognises. For a start it is a pain having to check each page in several browsers for compatibility. But worse is the fact that CSS is so much more work. Took all day to design one web page that would have taken 2 to 3 hours in HTML 3 (if I had worked slowly and taken a coffee break), and the result is fucking identical!

I'd go back to pure HTML 3 and basic Javascript, if weren't that people are calling me a dinosaur and threatening to lock me in a glass case then display me in a museum with a label saying "Early form of web designer - Became extinct about 1995."



Your mother should consider herself lucky it is only the dog food bowl. When the mother of one of the guy's I walk the dogs for, visits for an overnight stay, they have to lock the door of the guest bedroom - Because if the husky gets in, he pisses in her bed!

(We think the message the dog is trying to give is "This is my house, not yours, and all this stuff is mine!")

Oh, JustRobert - You do know, don't you, that if you keep posting those "The weather here is fucking marvellous" messages, those of us who are living in sub zero temperatures are going to pay you a visit, rip off all your limbs, then beat you to death with the sticky ends!

The world and the weather are totally skewed... Was upper 70's here today. It should be 20's to 30's... It will dip tonight but the whole coming week is a rise back up to 70's... Not complaining. Damn glad about it.
