Good Morning :)

Even thou ecchi will wish me death, we are expecting nice weather today with mid 70's. Yesterday turned out to be low 90's and I don't even like that when it happens in the summer.

Wish I can get out of the house but I was contacted by the electrical company that redid my panels and supposedly the inspectors lost paperwork or something and want to come out today to look at things again, yet I am not sure what time. Frustrating!

Back pain actually got worse as the day went on yesterday even thou I did nothing. Today it's feeling much like yesterday morning so it will be a rest the back day with just biz work on agenda, except for the inspection.

Enjoy!

I lost what last little bit of respect I had for Russian men today:

There is this Russian women I meet occasionally while walking the dogs. She knows I live alone, and today asked me "Who cooks your evening meal?" When I replied that I do it myself, she looked amazed and said "Wow, you are amazing!" She found it inconceivable that a man could prepare food without having to get a woman to do it for him! Genuinely, I don't think she would have been more surprised if I had ripped off my fake human head and revealed that I was a lizard man from planet Boogallo. Apparently Russian men would never even consider cooking food!

She looked even more impressed when she asked me what I was cooking for dinner and I told her it would be a soya meal. It would appear Russian men also never eat vegetarian!

Yep! :)

Yesterday I said that I heard two opposing weather forecasts for today (one saying it would be colder, the other saying it would be warmer). Surprisingly both were correct. Today started warmer than yesterday, but quickly cooled and by the time I took the dogs walkies it had become a lot colder than yesterday!

I would have told them "You lost the paperwork, so you give me an exact time you are coming." As the fault was at their end I would not have been a nice about waiting in all day as you.

Well most inspectors are good people there are a couple that can be for more of a pain in my ass than worth throwing a fuss about. The funny thing is (you will like it because it's weather related) is that the 20% chance of rain turned into 100% and it was pouring when he was here and had to use an umbrella while checking the outdoor panel. Karma.

As I mentioned it poured rain so it was not a nice day in the 70's but a more typical mid 60's with wetness. So it was a near 30 degree drop from the day before and I am quite happy about it :D

Back when I was a licensed contractor I found it wise to leave something small that needed to be changed for most inspectors NEED to find something wrong to prove they're doing their jobs. LOL

Ya the first inspector found a couple of small issues and that one of the screws that held the new subpanel inside the house was the wrong screw.
