Hello everybody

Having installed the google toolbar. I saw some interesting facts on my sites PR.

I’m using the sub-folders approach for submitting to LLs and DIRs and PR rating are different ie:

www.bert.com/blonde/nude/index.htm PR2
www.bert.com/blonde/naked/index.htm PR0
www.bert.com/blondes/nude/index.htm PR1
www.bert.com/blondes/naked/index.htm PR3

So, I came to some conclusions but would like to check it with the SEs experts here.

1 – Technically, all of the above sites are different, having their own index, tour, 2 gals and upsell pages.
Shoudn’t I submit all of them to the SEs separately?

2 – I remember seeing something about “doorway” pages, optimized for SEs, so, why not make one with some “heavy” optimum text and dozens of recips?
This page could be named something like
www.bert.com/blonde/se-submit/index.htm

You only need to sub bert.com and the SE's will find all your pages.

No comment on the PR because the links you posted don't work. But I "assume" that they have different amounts of text and "key words" on them.

Not really, surfn, the pages are exactly the same. Only the recips are different. that is why I don't understand the PR ratings.

Also I would like to know if SEs will penalize me if I submit the various mirrored index pages.

If they are text recips then they "ARE" different.

If they are buttons it makes no sense to me.

Yes, they are mainly TEXT recips but, even with buttons, the links are also different so, like you say, makes no sense !

It seems we are experiencing a failure in communicating. Perhaps someone else can explain it so you can understand. :D

If he does not link to the sub pages from his index page then just submitting the index will not enable google to find them.
