Wednesday March 2nd (aka No Power + No Generator = Horrible Sleep)
 

Morning |zzzzzzzzz

Went to bed around 8 & woke up sometime after 10 because I couldn't breath. At 1st I thought my sleep apnea tube was kinked or the machine broke. Looked around & it was very dark, meaning the power was out. So I waited 30 seconds, because the backup generator is supposed to kick on within that timespan. Nothing :( Get out of bed, make my way downstairs using the flashlight on my phone, go outside, open up the top of the generator housing & look at it as if I knew WTF any of it did. It'd try to turn on every now & then, but wouldn't catch/turn over. Tried to start it manually, but nothing. So, back in the house, looking for candles & flashlights with batteries that work |banghead| We are NOT prepared at all for a power outage because with the generator, they only last 10 seconds |pokefun||greenguy| The Bitch calls & says work let her out early because of the power outage caused by the ice storm. I frantically try to remember how to open the garage door without power |huh By now I'm just |angry| and |zzzzzzzzz so I grab the iPad, throw on Interstellar, and lie in bed. Fall asleep until the power comes back on around 4. You would think I'd put my mask back on, but I just rolled over & went back to sleep. Wake back up around 7 & seeing as I only had 2 hours of real sleep, I feel like I have narcolepsy. So I chug down 4 Monsters & now, I'm wide awake & yawning - it's not a pleasant feeling. My head hurts, my body aches....I'm going back to bed....with my mask |thumb

No ice and no loss of power here, just very odd dreams last night.

Work, gym, more work and then a networking Meetup this evening.

Working now - but promised myself Settlers later.

Not walking the dogs today. My friend's have potential buyers looking at their house - which would have meant going over there later. But tremendous lightning storms are threatened for later and my friends don't want their dogs out in that (they don't mind me drowning and getting struck by lightening, but they worry about their dogs).

It cooled down here with temps in the upper 60's today.

Spent 4+ hours on the house yesterday, which is more than I expected, and really feeling it today so going to skip that stuff today since I have to go to a meeting tomorrow that I really can't put off any longer and don't want to be in pain.

Passed out last night about 9:30 and so I was up at 4:30 which is still a nice 7 hours but will probably be taking a nap later for sure. Until then...
