I'd have been here yesterday, except...

Thursday morning I woke up to Windows telling me to reboot after an update. No big deal, until I fire up all my programs (aka apps) and Namo (my HTML editor) says it needs my info & unlock code. So I find it, put it in there, it's working, life is good.

Friday Windows tells me to reboot again after another update. Again, no big deal until I fire up Namo. This time, it shows me this:

So I click OK & it closes the program (aka app) No other option. So I uninstall/reinstall & get the same message. So I uninstall, install the trial version, same thing. So I install the full version over the trial....you get where this is going.

Namo is basically out of the HTML editor biz these days (I think they got bought out by another company) The Bitch suggested I call Microsoft |lol|

Now, I have a newer version of Namo (was 5.5, now 9.0) but there was a problem with the program (aka app) making everything in an external link lowercase & I could NOT figure out how to make it stop. So, 4 years after buying it, I reinstalled it & it does work. I go thru the preferences & find what I think was fucking up the links (some Auto Links Correction setting) and BINGO! I'm back in biz |banana|

That all only took 10 hours....

So playing a bit of catchup today...and learning Namo 9.0.0 |thumb

PS - I just remembered that I 1st started to use Namo when Microsoft removed Front Page Express from Windows, so this is all Microsoft's fault to begin with!

Hospital visit yesterday. They put that shit in my eyes that makes everything blurry for the rest of the day. Could not work on the computer when I got home, so went to bed early then got up at 4am and have been working since then on the menu system for ClitPass.

Worst part of the hospital appointment is that they tell me I need more eye surgery, so will be back there for more of that later in the month. I hate it, but as the alternative is to go blind, I have to put up with it.

Microsoft still bundle the software I use to create HTML scripts. It is called "Wordpad"!

By coincidence my father 'phoned about an hour ago. He also has XP, but as he only uses the computer for writing letters, spreadsheet work, email, surfing, solitaire, and sudoku he does not really need to upgrade. But some websites won''t load on IE8, and he hates Chrome, so he is thinking of upgrading to a computer powerful enough to run Windows 10 (IE spend several hundred dollars, just to avoid having to surf with Chrome). He asked me if I had heard any bad things about Windows 10, sadly I had not read your post by then.

Been working since 7:30 straight through, plan to stop at 5 or 6 lol. I do have to run to the grocery store to grab a few things before watching the hockey game tonight |thumb

Played Disc Golf today. It was fun but we lost a disc in the lake, but it was an extra disc that we found. Only did half the course due to my leg hurting, though.
