Tuesday May 10th (aka Doing Important Work Today)

Morning! |waves|

Some will remember my mentioning that my youngest step-daughter has been having serious kidney problems - poor kid is only 28 :( She had her evaluation yesterday at the transplant center & it looks like she's bad enough that she'll be approved for a transplant sometime in the next week. So, I'm throwing together a page of info for Living Donors aka those that want to donate a kidney. I can't "advertise" for a kidney donor for her specifically, so you have to word it a certain way so that it doesn't look like she's willing to pay for a kidney (even if I already told her $20 & she can have one of mine)

So gonna slap that together, banking & chiro this afternoon, and then more |hockey|

Damn I hate to here that about your step-daughter. Maybe start a fund me page to help with medical bills too?

Today... working in the yard, killing links, and tonight belly dance lessons.

Once again having a really hard time waking up.

Work, gym, and more work before going bowling this evening is my day's plans so far.

Good morning, usual day planned of work work work :)

Shitty about the step-daughter Greenie :(

Not good about the step-daughter, but... at least she will qualify. That in itself is a hurdle. Hopefully, a suitable donor is found quickly.

I think I about have all the dead stuff off the hub and have been adding new stuff like crazy. Maybe I will have to redecorate?

Am currently drinking beer and eating fried chicken - that is how exciting my life gets!

Work - pack- walk puppy - visit doctors - that is it, no fun except that which eating fast food while drinking imported alcohol brings!

Ahh well.

My best wishes to her. I can only repeat to you what people keep telling me - A kidney transplant is one of the easier transplant operations, almost routine. It is not something to worry about once you have found a donor.

Hope all goes well

That's in the works. 10 years ago, no problem at all, but now...

A lot of family & friends have already asked for info on being tested. I know that The Bitch, my other stepdaughter, and myself are already blood type matches, so we're hopeful that I living donor will be among us (plus I could really use that $20)

I keep telling that to The Bitch. I think my stepdaughter is 100x's more optimistic about a successful outcome than she is :D

THANK YOU ALL for the kind words & thoughts |lovers|

Positive attitude will go very far. And yes, as Ecchi said, it has gotten to be almost routine now. *I* know you will find a donor very soon.
