Monday June 27th - Now what?
 

I live near the beach but surprisingly don't go very often.

I hurt a lot.

Looked at the beach cam this morning hoping for an ocean as calm glass for a morning of snorkeling, but saw white caps so here I am working.

Just my usual day of work planned with the possibility of the gym this afternoon.

I had a round of dizziness start again last night. This is my first attack this year, so it isn't really all that bad. I have some exercises to do and in a few days I should be back to normal. Slows me down a little, but it isn't impossible. Husband is unhappy because he usually has to do dishes (which he absolutely hates) and cook a bit. He was shocked that I managed to do them. The biggest issue with this vertigo (formally called BPPV or Benign Paroxymal Postional Vertigo) is that I can't look down or up without getting dizzy. So, looking at the keyboard is uncomfortable. It isn't painful, and it is something that a good number of seniors have. My mother also has it, but severe and chronic. Mine comes and goes.

So, back for a bit of work. Today will be a light day for me.

Pagan, I've had a few bouts of vertigo myself in recent years. It isn't fun.

Mine was due to an inner ear thing I had going on. It's gone now, at least I haven't had it in a few years. If it never comes back it'll be too soon.


And the sound of chainsaws was heard over near Greenguy's house. Reminds me I have to call an arborist this summer, I have a couple of trees and and a 12-foot-high hedge that needs cutting.
