2016.08.11 Shopping Day
Morning. |coffee
Finally had to happen. At (almost) 55, the doctor put me on my first regular drug. It's a blood pressure pill. There's a history of heart disease in my family so I suppose it was inevitable. Perhaps I can lose the 20 pounds I need to and get off the pill. It's not like I haven't said that before. Doing a little work this morning and then heading out to IKEA with my daughter to buy some stuff for her new place. This moving out may really happen. |bananna| Have a great day! |thumb |
No high blood pressure here. Doctor says that I have the stats of a 20-year-old. Losing 80 pounds has really helped. Still, I have borderline high cholesterol, though and have to take statins plus warfarin due to being shot.
Feeling exhausted after doing a fast paced 7+ mile evening kayaking last night. I don't feel like a 20-year-old this morning. lol Work, grocery store and then over to the kayak shop to buy a replacement handle for the one that broke last night as I was getting my kayak off the trailer resulting in it dropping on my foot and scraping up my arm. |
Look after your blood pressure, that is the main cause of my kidney collapse.
Have been on oxygen since last night, makes me feel a bit better. |
Afternoon all. Been kinda busy either running people that can't drive around or at doctor appt's - that & sleeping :D
