Felt crappy yesterday but feeling better today.

A full day of work ahead is ahead of me followed by going to the Blue Jays game tonight against the New York Yankees. They need to pick up our game in order to get into the playoffs again this year.

It was my birthday yesterday so I goofed off and spent much of the day playing with an Android TV box I bought a while back. I'd like to reduce my cable bill but the one channel that has proved to be the stumbling block is the Food Network Canada. Managed to set that up on Kodi (XBMC) along with Netflix and others. I'll be calling the cable company today to get the lower package and save $25 (plus 13% tax).

Back from the 3 week recreational stay in the Northern part of Norway.
Northern Light, really good beer and an exceptional beautiful area to stroll around in.

Need sleep... Didn't get to bed until late dealing with a PITA drunk friend. Then yard guy was ringing my doorbell really early because he needed me to shut off the sprinklers. Plus new kitty thinks night time is time to jump on my head while kneading and purring in my ear.

Doing Foxy's updates and then errands and possibility of the gym. A nap would be nice too,

Another day in paradise, lol. Online work, emails and the usual for me today.

True! But Houston lost that game thanks to fumbling 2 kickoffs which lead to 14 points, more than half of the Patriots points. They lost that themselves. The Patriots D though was insanely good last night. |thumb

Today is a very good day with both the Pats and Red Sox kicking ass :)

The Texans offense was too conservative, especially after the two fumbled kickoffs put them in a hole. To beat the Patriots you have to take the game to them. Waiting for them to make defensive mistakes is not going to win on the road in New England.

Not that it made a difference in this game, but the road team on a Thursday night is at a huge disadvantage. Short week and they have to spend a good portion of one day on travel. Home team gets 25% more practice time. (four days vs three for the road team)

I'd like to see a change where teams only play on Thursday after they've had a bye week. Two teams off each week, they play the Thursday game the next week. No byes in week 17. Players and coaches would like that much better.

The Red Sox certainly are on a roll. I hope they wear themselves out by the end next week so that Blue Jays can beat them in the final series and secure a wild card spot.
