Morning! |waves|

The Bitch won $125 in a football pool over the weekend, so we treated ourselves to dinner at Five Guys (not sure if they are nationwide or just a NY thing) Please feel free to make jokes that she just won more money than I will this entire football season |pokefun||greenguy|

We also ordered new iPhone 7's yesterday. You know these fuckers cost $750 each!? |angry| Luckily our iPhone 5's were worth $300 each & they now allow/force you to make monthly payments on the phones. We each got the 128GB versions because our 5's were almost full at 27GB, meaning we'd fill up the 32GB version really quick.

Feeling pretty ok today. Have to pick up the ASSIL & run him around to get parts for his truck. Then the chiro this afternoon |thumb

Good morning :)

Left my friends place in the valley and am now at my daughter's place in downtown LA we got her for the school year. That means I sleep on an Ikea sofa bed and it is not comfy |angry|. Wife comes for a visit tomorrow for Canada Thanksgiving then after she leaves I will likely head home to Canada as well which means only another week or so here.

We have Five Guys in NH/FL as well. Tasty death.

Prepping and watching for Hurricane Matthew - my first.

Greenie, we have Five Guys down here. Not sure if I've ever eaten there though.

Really thinking of getting the iPhone 7 plus this time due to its camera system. Also planning on getting an Apple Watch now that they are waterproof.

Getting ready to go buy a couple days of generator fuel and a few things from the grocery store. If things look even worse tomorrow will be putting up storm shutters and filling up a 55 drum with generator fuel. So not looking forward to this storm. Oddly my Air BnB guest that is coming in Thursday hasn't cancelled. I guess they want that full Florida experience. lol

Tropical storm warning just went up for my area. :(

Morning. |coffee

We've had 5 Guys for a few years here in Toronto. Very popular.

Just gathering and copying documents for our new financial advisor today.

Later, a friend and I have to make a quick visit at my daughter place to fix her TV wall mount before heading to the AL Wild Card Game at Rogers Centre tonight. Go Blue Jays!|bananna|

Have a great day! |thumb

You'd have to be a major league carnivore to eat there (though you can get a grill cheese, I don't think people go there for them).

Typhoons and Hurricanes OH MY!

Good luck to all the East Coast Peeps especially those in South Florida! Hurricanes suck. Typhoons suck even more. 1 coming in for us tomorrow. Oh, joy.
Stay dry, safe and well lubed.

When I was out of state for a few months they had them. Visited at least once a week and many times twice :D

Found out there is one here in So Cal but it's just too far away to go pick up and bring back home and watch tv. Thankfully I found a gourmet burger joint close to the house to fill those needs!

MeatPounder 2016-10-07 01:51 PM

Five Guys have decent burgers...not as good as the best gourmet burgers down here, but much better by far over the pink slop the burn to make most "franchise" burgers.
|deadhorse
But JustRobert, seeing how you are in CA have you ever tried In-N-Out Burger?
Excellent!|bananna|

Surprising to most of my friends I prefer 5 Guys over In-N-Out. I think INO may have a slightly better burger but to me their fries suck and bring the whole meal down whereas 5G has good fries making the whole meal better.
