Woke up in a really good mood - I just hope it lasts :)

Aside from picking up the ASSIL & running my mom to the store, it's worky work busy bee for me!

Wish I had! Woke up feeling down, spent the morning slipping lower.

Four months ago age was just a number. I am not as old as my numerical age. I walked well over 10 miles a day, most of it being pulled around by a dog strong enough to drag a truck. Then after two weeks in in bed sick at home, followed by three months in bed in hospital I am as weak as a kitten. The five minute walk to the grocer's exhausts me. As a result of the illness I have to wear special shoes to stop the bones in my foot crumbling. I need a walking stick to help me walk. The District Nurse visits three times a week. I feel old. Older than my numerical age.

The worst part is that the social workers are discussing if I need home help, as they feel I can no longer look after myself. Four months ago there was no question of this, I was looking after myself like a twenty year old. But because of the "pocketed virus" in my foot, they now think I need home help. N.B. They think I need home help, They have not asked me, They think I am too old the decide for myself and They are going to decide for me!

There is an old line "Growing old is a bitch, but it beats the alternative." I used to quote that, but now I'm not so sure I agree with the last bit.

Speaking of things getting better. Was kind of freaking out that I didn't have any Air BnB bookings so yesterday I adjusted my prices down a bit. Within a few hours got two very nice bookings, although at less than what I would normally like them to pay, but some money is better than no money.

Work, laundry, make sure room is ready for tomorrow's guest, grocery shopping and then a networking Meetup this evening si my day's plans so far.

On a side note, I think I should have named her the farter after being woken up two days in a row by really stinky cat farts as she was giving me morning attention.

For some reason I over did it yesterday working on the house. Probably because I want certain things done by end of month. Should of realized that after spending a few nights in a strange bed that this would already put my back out of sorts. Throw in excess house work and now feeling pain with that "my back is going to give out" feeling. This getting old is a bitch.

Which lead me to ecchi, hopefully you will get a busty blonde fresh university graduate that loves Dr Who to come help you or a hung stud, whatever floats your boat!

Survived a 2hour session at the dentist.
So I bought myself two beers and a pack of potato chips to reward myself while dabbling around with some blog-shit

Just getting back to some bookkeeping after gathering info for Canada Revenue Agency. My wife is out buying my daughter a new computer after she toasted hers. |angry|

Other than that, it's quiet around here and that's good with me.
